Mosque

The interior of this new purpose-built mosque needed to reflect the detailed and rather elaborate exterior.

To stay true to the symmetrical patterns popularized in muslim architecture, a unique geometric theme was developed to act as a "red thread" throughout the building. This was further integrated into a number of bespoke features including a dramatic ceiling and unique prayer mat carpet designs. A calming blue and gold colour scheme worked perfectly with the classical arabesque tiling specified for the wash rooms and entrance hall.

The client was especially happy that our interior fused modern finishes with age-old traditions in perfect harmony – the resulting ambience making for peaceful contemplation and soulful worship.
